I don't know if I did the right thing by turning down the esprit job.
Shrugs.
We were supposed to report for work today.
Haha.
It's okay.
There are better jobs out there.

Yesterday I went to scout for my prom dress with ms tan choon gim.
I tried on many, many dresses.
Some are nice, some are sexy, some are too pricey.
Too difficult to decide.
And for the first time in my 18 years of age, I tried on a cheong sum (qipao).
When I came out of the fitting room, a crowd actually gathered outside the shop.
I don't know if they were looking at us, wahaha.
I wouldn't say I am a stunning beauty in the cheong sum but there was definitely something that I had never notice on me before.
And we each got ourselves an identical top.
Her was in white while mine was in turqouise.
Shopping with her is always the best.

3. far east (there are many many shops with nice dresses to choose from. if you are looking for style and strapped for cash, this is the place you should go to.)

Tips to choose a dress:
1. the less embellished the better
2. the effect is simple and intelligent
3. for evenings like prom, wear black opaque tights for dramatic effect
4. no accessorising needed, at most, a statement necklace

this dress is super nice but the back is totally bare till the butt.

Guess which dress I bought? Haha. Don't tell you. See it on my prom. The only thing I can say is my dress is simple but the cutting is quite unique, different from conventional dresses (like tubes, spag strap or halter). And my dress was worn by the mediacorp celeb huang bi ren :)
